The head is cast with a serene facial expression displaying slit eyes below linked ridged eyebrows, aquiline nose, smiling lips, elongated earlobes with circular ear ornaments, his hair combed into a chignon and ornamented with a high slightly tapering conical cover, on stand.
From a German private collection, acquired from Marcel Nies, Antwerp, previously from the collection of Galerie de Ruimte, Netherlands, then from the Jean Nies collection and by inheritance from Barbara La Rocca
