A TOSEI GUSOKU (ARMOUR)

Japan, 19th /20th c.
Helm B. 27 cm, Teile H. 20-70 cm, Kasten 52,5 x 44 x 46 cm
Kabuto of type hine-no-zunari-bachi of five iron plates, lacquered black and partly gold-coloured, sugake odoshi in blue with shikoro of three plates, hanbo with three-layered yodarekake, sode and kote with hito-e gusari and textile with floral patterns. Along with: kataginu and naga-bakama (two ceremonial garments for samurai), indigo-coloured and with naka-wa no uchini ken kata-bami mon. Wooden box with iron fittings.
