Seated with probably crossed legs on a pedestal, his veined hands resting on his lap, wearing monastic robes including various undergarments and a wide-sleeved mantle covering his legs, one section draped over his left shoulder fastened with a knotted ribbon, partly painted with floral and geometric musters, his face displaying a dignified expression with inlaid eyes below arched eyebrows, wrinkled forehead, firmly closed lips and bald head.
From an old South German private collection, in family ownership since the early 20th century - Minor wear, slightly chipped and very minor repairs
