Standing in samapada on a Meiji period separate carved lotus base with several rows of upturned petals set on the back of a lion reclining on a hexagonal-shaped pedestal, both hands showing the vitarkamudra, wearing monastic garment including under skirt fastened around his waist and a wide-sleeved mantle covering both shoulders, both textiles finely decorated with various gilt painted musters including geometric motifs and stylized flower heads, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into the nose-bridge, rock-crystal inlaid urna at his forehead, black painted mustache, pierced elongated earlobes, his curled hair continuing into a low ushnisha and set to the front with a rock-crystal bead.
