A RARE GILT-BRONZE FIGURE OF AMITAYUS

Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with both hands resting on his lap in the dhyanamudra, wearing dhoti fastened around the waist with a belt decorated with beaded strings, bejewelled, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into his nose-bridge, elongated earlobes with ear ornaments, his hair combed in a chignon topped with a lotus and secured with a simple tiara ornamented with a pair of flower heads and floating ribbons, unsealed.
