Description:
China, Qianlong seal mark and periodD. 15 cm
Shaped with deep, upturned, round sides standing on a slightly splayed foot decorated on the outside with two twisting, five-clawed dragons between clouds and flames. The foot decorated with waves, six-character seal mark in underglaze blue on the inside of the base.
From an important South German private collection, acquired on 11 December 1993 from Georg L. Hartl, Schloss Egg (original invoice preserved)
The present bowl is rare in form and design.
