A rare blue and white footed bowl with dragon decoration in underglaze blue

China, Qianlong seal mark and period
D. 15 cm
Shaped with deep, upturned, round sides standing on a slightly splayed foot decorated on the outside with two twisting, five-clawed dragons between clouds and flames. The foot decorated with waves, six-character seal mark in underglaze blue on the inside of the base.

The present bowl is rare in form and design.
