Titled: 'Jiang liu tian di wai' (The River Flows Beyond the World), dated early spring of the Wuyin year (1998). Artist's signature: 'Yiming zuo' (painted by Yiming). Two artist's seals: 'Yiming', 'Pi Yu Si'.

Feng Yiming is from Tangshan City, Hebei Province. He learned painting from his father, Feng Linzhang, since childhood. In his twenties, he became a professional painter, specializing in meticulous landscape painting with spray colors. In 1990, he went to the Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts for further studies. From 1991 to 1999, Feng's successes were demonstrated by participating in numerous exhibitions in China and abroad, including Shenzhen, Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan and Singapore, and winning many prizes. He is considered one of the most promising young Chinese painters today
