Tibeto-Chinese, 18th/early 19th cent.
H. 10,5 cm
Seated in lalitasana on a lotus base with his right foot supported by a conch horizontally placed on a vase, his right hand holding the lemon fruit while the left the mongoose, wearing skirt, scarf floating around his shoulders, bejewelled, his face displaying a fierce expression, his chin framed by a beard, his hair combed in a chignon and secured with a five-leaf tiara, resealed.
Important Southern German private collection collected until 2004, this bronze was acquired at Koller Zürich, 12.6.1999, lot 92 - Very minor wear, very slightly chipped, the scarf band with a small break
