China, late Ming/early Qing dynastyH. 32,5 cm
Standing on a separate cast rectangular pedestal with both hands clasped in front of his chest, wearing various garments including skirt fastened around the waist with a ribbon knotted to the front, wide-sleeved mantle, pair of boots, his face displaying a sturdy expression with slit eyes below arched eyebrows that run into the nose-bridge, beard and he is head topped with a bonnet, traces of gilt-lacquer.
