China, Xuande mark and inscription on the base, 17th/18th cent.H. 27,8 cm
On a flared footß of oval cross-section, bulbous body with high neck of rounded rectangular cross-section. Flat-roofed cover with knob. Flanges on the narrow sides. The broad sides decorated in relief with taotie and dragons, decorated with archaising silver ornaments. The body is decorated with inlays of very fine silver wires. Base mark: Da Ming Xuande wu nian zhong ... gongbuguan chen Wu Bangzou.
