A bronze vase of 'hu' type in archaic style

China, Ming dynasty
H. 24,6 cm
Widening shape towards the top with a wide neck and offset mouth. Two Ösinks with movable ring handles on the shoulder. In moulded relief below the shoulder a narrow band with archaising taotie decoration and four lancet forms with cicada pattern. Brown patina. Weight: 2.09 kg.
