Korea or Ryukyu Islands, 19th cent.91,8 x 58 x 21,5 cm
Magnificently decorated over a red lacquer background with a couple of phoenixes under a wutong tree with a mother-of-pearl inlaid crescent moon and a poem on the reverse.
Collection Dr Rainer Kreissl (1924 - 2005) - Southern German private collection, assembled before 1990 - Very minor damages and traces of age, rest.
