A BRONZE LIBATION LADDLE

The libation laddle is cast in the shape of a conch, its turned top-section is decorated with a band of boteh-motifs, continuing into the bulbous-shaped body ornamented with a scrolling tendril design around the double hemispherical opening to its front, terminating into the spout formed as the wide-open mouth of a makara showing a pair of bulging eyes above a short curling trunk and a pair of pricked ears.
