A majestic elephant cast in patinated bronze, its body draped in a ceremonial robe. The saddle is decorated with dragons, flowers and imitation tassels, while pearls are draped around it, alluding to the significance of the animals. The elephant wears a headdress and is depicted with a curved trunk. The partially still-existing setting accentuates certain features and draws the viewer's attention to the numerous fine details that adorn this bronze. The original pagoda attachment has been lost.
