Description:

Tibet, 15th century on a presumably related but somewhat earlier 14th century base.
H. 16,3 cm
Seated in vajrasana on a lotus pedestal, standing on a probably accompanying, somewhat older, rectangular throne, which is decorated all round with semi-precious stones and has an additional chakra studded with pearls attached to the front. His right arm rests on his right knee and displays the Abhayamudra, while his left arm rests on his shoulder and holds the Kalasha, he wears a clösterling robe consisting of a tunic and a patched cloak, both engraved with vines, his face shows a serene expression with downcast eyes under arched eyebrows, smiling lips and a blue coloured, shaved hairstyle, the base of the throne is sealed
