Description:

Mongolia, 18th/ early 19th cent.
H. 18,6 cm
Standing in pratyalidhasana on a separate cast lotus base decorated with a pair of curling snakes, his raised right hand brandishing the vajra while the left is grasping the pasha, wearing tiger-skirt, scarf floating around his shoulders, bejewelled, his face displaying a wrathful expression with bulging eyes below raised bushy eyebrows, open mouth showing fangs and a double row of teeth, traces of painted facial details, his red coloured flaming hairdo decorated with a half-vajra and secured with a skull ornamented tiara, resealed.
