Description:

Tibeto-Chinese, 18th cent.
H. 10,8 cm
Seated in vajrasana on a lotus base, both hands showing the vitarkamudra while originally holding stems of lotuses flowering along her upper arms, wearing sari, scarf, jewellery set with later inlaid turquoise beads, her cold-gilded face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into her nose-bridge, elongated earlobes, her blue coloured hair combed in a chignon topped with a ratna and secured with a five-leaf tiara decorated with a pair of floating ribbons, unsealed.
