Yamuna, the "goddess of wealth", partner of the wealth god Jambhala, belongs to the group of five protectors who are invoked for a long life. She is worshipped as the goddess of colour, wealth and fertility. Yamuna sits in a relaxed posture on a lotus throne. Her right footß rests on a turtle above a stem that rises in front of the throne. She wears bodhisattva jewellery, the fivefold crown attached to the back of a crown bearer. Her hair is tied in a knot and pinned with a jewel. She is four-armed and holds the symbols of the jewel (ratna) on the right and the vase of nectar (amrtakalasa) on the left - The two main hands perform the gesture of wish-granting (varadamudra) on the right and the gesture of teaching (vitarkamudra) on the left. Resealed.
