A fine and very rare melon-green glazed Imperial porcelain bowl

Description:

China, underglaze-blue seal mark and period of Qianlong
D. 17,6 cm
Delicatly potted with a flared mouth, deep rounded sides, and a foot with an unglazed rim. It is applied overall with a green glaze that runs thin to a lighter shade along the mouth rim.
Important South German private collection, acquired at Nagel 2.11.2013, lot 45, according to tradition from an old private collection, acquired in Paris in the 1980s
