"Kleiner Wal unten", 1997/2009. Sound and light installation: loudspeakers, diodes, electronic components mounted on a wooden panel and Plexiglas, with plug. Signed, dated, titled and numbered 1/3 in ballpoint pen on the reverse.
According to the artist, the "Walbuckel-Loch" (whale hump hole) emits beautiful whale songs, which are randomly interrupted by sonar sounds, as whales are hunted with sonar. The blue light is intended to suggest the underwater situation.
