Fine, gilt bronze case on a fitted, ebonised wooden plinth and 6 bun feet. Next to the column-like shaft sits a young woman with a cornucopia and a lion as an allegory of abundance thanks to peace. Bombé enamel dial with Roman numerals, Arabic minute track and decorated hands. Large pendulum movement with 8-day running time, half-hour striking on bell and thread suspension of the pendulum.
