The ivory 18th century, the mounting laterH. 22 cm
The whole carved with a scene of cherubs with hay bales, fruit bouquets, grapes and bottles, vase on pedestal. Monogram ‘HG’ engraved on the wine barrel. Later, gilt copper mounts. Slightly worn, minimal restorations, ivory body with small cracks, minute restorations to the extremities. With EU sales permit for ivory objects No. DE-RP 319-25-0016
From an old German private collection, acquired before 1975
