A PAIR OF BUSTS OF TWO CLERGYMEN

Walnut, carved with hollowed back. The clerics, designed as half-figures, wear elaborate priestly robes with lace-trimmed rochets, stoles and collars. The robes are covered with silver and gold poliment. The flesh tones are partially overpainted, as is the gilding. The silver has darkened with age. Minor restorations on the fingers, slight damages due to age.
