A RARE FLORAL PATTERN ROCOCO CRUET STAND WITH TWO BOTTLES

H. 15,5/19,5 cm, L. 22,5 cm
The rocaille shaped sockle supporting two openwork stands with relief flowers, two baluster-shaped bottles with flat, flower-covered lids. Fine painting of bouquets of flowers and scattered flowers. Underglaze blue binding shield mark, manganese-coloured painter's number ‘28’ or ‘Z8’ on base, bottles and lids. One rocaille on base restored, chips, 1 lid restored.
Important private collection from the Rhineland, assembled in the 1950s and 1960s, passed down through the family to the current owner.
