Indonesia, 9th/10th cent.H. 17,4 cm
Seated in lalitasana on a lotus base placed on a rectangular plinth, her right hand supporting a bud while the left is resting on the base grasping the stem of a lotus flowering along her upper arm supporting the pustaka, wearing sari, bejewelled, her face displaying a serene expression, her hair combed in a chignon secured with a tiara and a flaming halo behind surmounted by a parasol.
