North-India, Kangra, 18th cent.40 x 27,5 cm / 57,5 x 45 cm
The purusha is seated with legs crossed, wearing a dhoti, his naked upper body seeing the five cakras each in the shape of a lotus flower containing a differnet divinity, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, moustache framing his upper lip and a couple placed against a lotus above, all inscribed, framed and glazed.
