The separate sculpted Guanyin is seated in vajrasana, both hands resting on the lap in dhyanamudra, wearing a monastic garment including skirt secured with a belt, wide-sleeved mantle, the face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes, elongated earlobes, the hairdo topped with an elaborate crown and the reverse carved with two cavities, placed on a throne consisting of a lotus base set on a shaped base and supporting a flaming halo carved in ajour with dragons amidst a scrolling vine design.
