The rectangular panel sculpted in deep relief with Buddha Shakyamuni placed within an arched niche encompassed by flames and scrolling tendrils above, seated in vajrasana on a lotus base with both hands resting on his lap in dhyanamudra, wearing monastic cloak including underskirt and mantle covering both shoulders, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows that run into the nose=bridge, elongated earlobes and the curled hairdo continuing into the ushnisha.
