Ceylon, 19th cent.H. 12,5 cm
Standing in samapada on a rectangular plinth placed on a lotus flower issued by an octagonal base, his right hand showing the vitarkamudra while the left is falling down along his body, wearing monastic robe, his face displaying a serene expression with downcast eyes below arched eyebrows, incised urna at his forehead, elongated ealobes, curled hairdo continuing into a low ushnisha and topped with a flame. Total weight: 233 g (silver figure, possibly solid, silver-plated base).
