A METAL PRIEST-BELL, GHANTA AND A PHURBA

Tibet, 18th/19th cent.
H. 22,5/ 25 cm
The bell-shaped body cast with petals around the shoulder showing swaying tassels surmounted by the bronze handle cast with a central placed face, topped with a four prong finial around a central rod and each prong issued by a makara-head. The dagger wrought with a central iron grip in the shape of two bands of lotus petals, placed on a makara-head, terminating in a triangular blade decorated with snakes and topped with a bronze demon head consisting of three faces.
