Tibeto-Chinese, late 18th cent.
H. 13,2 cm
Seated astride the hamsa standing on a rocK-shaped base, his right hand holding a club while the left a ritual vase, wearing dhoti, scarf draped around his shoulders with its streamers encircling the arms and their finials falling behind him, bejewelled, his four-faced head showing the central one with a menacing expression with raised eyes below bushy eyebrows, the other faces more friendly, the hairdo combed in a high conical-shaped chignon and secured by tiaras, the base incised with the vishvavajra-emblem.
