A fine pair of Kutani (Kaga Ware) Vases decorated with bijin

On the front and back, depictions of bijin within a rectangular reserve, set in a garden with a flowering cherry tree and a bamboo grove respectively, above a further reserve with representations of blooming peonies and chrysanthemums on a fine brocade pattern with stylised peonies and trailing foliage. Signed on the underside.
