Description:

Japan, signed Kajikawa, 19th cent.
9 x 4,7 cm
On the front are two large cranes, on the back a rock rises into the air, on which an rose (fukujusô) is growing, above it fly two cranes, in takamaki-e, hiramaki-e, little black and red lacquer, as well as gold foil and kirikane. Inside nashiji and fundame. Signed Kajikawa and seal Hide in red lacquer.
