Six-panel folding screen. Ink, colour and gold on paper. Mountain landscape, probably in the Uji region, with blossoming cherry trees and pines, as well as a flock of cranes in flight. View of an atelier with artists working on the creation of hanging scrolls, alongside two basket weavers. In front of the gates, a path with a bridge crossing a river, featuring small figures and tea pickers at work. Signed on the right of the last panel, along the side.
From a private collection in southern Germany, acquired on June 23, 1975, from Heisando Co. Ltd., Tokyo, copy of invoice available - Traces of age, minor wear, rest.
