White rooster by a garden rock with white irises. Ink and colours on silk, mounted as a hanging scroll. Inscription and signature: "At the beginning of late spring of the yisi(?) year, after the style of Cui Bai of the Northern Song Dynasty, in the ouxiang Studio, Beiyunxi waishi Shouping". Two seals: Shouping, zhengshu.
Old German private collection, acquired before 2000, since then in family possession - A few age cracks in the upper area, somewhat repaired
