The stupa is carved with a square base surmounted by the separate sculpted domed shrine set with a niche to its front and topped with a separate finial; Buddha Shakyamuni is seated in sattvasana with his right hand in bhumisparshamudra, wearing a monastic robe and his face displaying a serene expression; and a figure of Buddhamuchalinda seated on the coils of a snake, his seven heads serving as canopy, both hands in dhyanamudra and his face displaying a serene expression, on base
