Two peaches. Ink and colours on paper, mounted and framed under glass. Signature: "In the fifth month of the guihai year (1983) painted by Duoshou Yuanzhu Buyun", five artist's seals: Song, Buyun, Buyun guxi..., shan zhe duo shou, duo shou yuan.

Song Buyun came from Weifang in Shandong province and was a Chinese artist for oil and watercolour painting. He worked at the Central Academy of Art and the Ministry of Culture in Beijing in the 1940s and 1950s. His works have been shown in several exhibitions. He is known for his peach paintings and was called the "Saint of Peaches" (taosheng) - Very minimally wear
