The head is modelled with a serene facial expression, with lowered eyes under arched eyebrows that merge into the bridge of the nose, smiling lips, lax earlobes and hair gathered into a low chignon secured with a high crown topped by a tiny figure of Buddha Amitabha, on a wooden plinth.
From the estate of the Helmut Ploog Collection (1940-2024), collected from 1965 onwards. Illustrated on a photo dated January 1998 - Traces of age, very minor rest.
