The centre of the painting is occupied by a four gated square palace showing a central vishvavajra emblem containing a central initiation god surrounded by other divinities, the gates guarded by protective divinities, surrounded by scrolling tendrils set with Buddhist emblems, encompassed by bands of petals, vajra-emblems, flames and the eight cemeteries, the upper register showing Buddha Amitabha in the centre flanked by lamas and mahasiddhas, the lower section with the white Padmapani flanked by Sadbhujamahakala and Caturbhujamahakala, in brocade mounting.
