Description:

North-West India, 15th/ 16th cent.
H. 15,8 cm
The shrine with the central placed Jain tirhankara seated on a cushion set on a throne, both hands in dhyanamudra, his chest with the srivatsa-emblem, his face displaying a serene expression, parasol flanked by a pair of elephants above his head, surrounded by some seated tirthankaras, standing attendants and a pair of seated worshippers, the reverse with lengthy inscription.
