Description:

Japan, Edo period
15 x 12,5 x 9,5 cm
Rectangular form with rounded edges, made of wood and coated with black lacquer, resting on four feet. The front with two folding doors, lacquered in gold on the inside. The interior with a finely carved Amida Buddha triad (Amida Sanzon) seated on pedestals, with dark coating and finely detailed gold painting.
