A carved boxwood okimono of an onibaba with baby made of boxwood

An old one-horned female oni wears a crying baby under her jacket and tied around her back; the baby also has a small horn on her head and holds a rattle drum (tenten daiko) with a tomoe motif, mounted on a handle and with two cords. The eyes of the onibaba are inlaid in two colours.
