Private property, Baden-Württemberg.
The chair was first presented at the Weißenhof Estate as part of the Werkbund exhibition “Die Wohnung” in 1927. From 1927 to 1930, it was produced in small numbers by Berliner Metallgewerbe Josef Müller.
From 1931 onwards, production was continued by Bamberger Metallwerkstätten.
From 1932, the chair was manufactured by Thonet.
