Red leather binding with gold-embossed cartouche with palmette pendants and floral ornamentation. Manuscript in red and black ink, pages with linear, gold-coloured border, dated 1183 d.H. = ca. 1769.
From the collection of the art dealer and collector Saeed Motamed (1925-2013), assembled from the 1950s until 2005 and largely documented in inscriptions dating from 1998, accompanied by drawings and Persian descriptions. This book was returned to Saeed Motamed by the Berlin State Library in 2011, where it had been held since 2004 but could not be acquired due to insufficient funds. - Stains, damaged and repaired
