Possibly Burkina Faso, Nafana (?)H. 41 cm, B. 16 cm
Wood with traces of pigment. A very unusual mask with a strongly abstract style. It is likely a horned animal mask. The front is decorated with stripes and recessed dots or rings. The central projecting element is shaped like a handle. The mask has no viewing holes.
