An antique Ningxia carpet

Five lobed, curvilinear rosette medallions are arranged across a pale yellow field, which is overlaid with a lattice-like geometric pattern. A meander border and an outer border with stylised peony blossoms form the frame.
From a North German private collection, assembled prior to 2000 - Pile thin, areas of re-knotting and restoration. Edges slightly reduced.
