Largely Nishapur, Northern Persia or Central Asia

Seven of the bowls with light-coloured sprue and polychrome ornamental decorations in brown, yellow and red. A red-glazed bowl with white pseudo-Kufic decoration. The brown-glazed jug with light-coloured Kufi calligraphy painting.
From the collection of the art dealer and collector Saeed Motamed (1925-2013), collected since the 1950s, largely documented in an inventory from 1998 with drawings and Persian descriptions.
