Three illuminated calligraphy sheets

One sheet with calligraphy reserves and floral-arabesque border ornamentation in polychrome gouache and gold. Two leaves decorated on both sides with calligraphy cartouches on differently coloured papers with floral ornamentation and gold highlights.
From the collection of art dealer and collector Saeed Motamed (1925-2013), collected since the 1950s, largely documented in a 1998 inventory with drawings and Persian descriptions. Partially documented in exhibition catalogs since the 1970s, see inventory no. 2686, p. 331 - Stains, some minimal damage.
