Two large octagons adorned with archaic hooked motifs dominate the vibrant red-ground field. The boldly drawn border, in white and light blue, provides a strong contrast. Both sides are finished with reciprocal borders in alternating colors. Striking color palette. This type is sometimes referred to as Aydinli, although a comparable example from the Vok Collection was described as a Karakusulu kilim from Manisa Province.
