Museum necklace with Teberius cameo in antique style

Description:

Around 1895, in the style of Louis Wiese, the cameo probably 18th or 19th century Italy.
2,9 x 4,3 cm | L. 49 cm
Setting of the cameo 999/000 yellow gold (RFA tested), Paris import stamp owl from 1893), necklace chain 750/000 yellow gold (tested). Cameo of whiteßgrey speckled chalcedony with depiction of a youthful emperor of the Julio-Claudian period, probably Tiberius, oval setting with granulation. The handmade, antique-style necklace with braided links, hook clasp with ornamentally pierced medallion disc. Total weight 41.3 g.
